Mary Hale was commissioned by choreographer David Rousseve to create demountable, tourable, light boxes for projections by video artist Cari Ann Shim Sham*.  These light boxes serve as minimalist set pieces for Halfway to Dawn: The Strayhorn Project, a dance work that will premiere in the fall of 2018.
